To the kindest, most loving, most generous man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. You may not have been here on Earth with me for a long period of time but in that short amount of time we were able to spend together you taught me that true love is real and what unconditional love feels like. My life will never be the same because of your love and for that I will forever be grateful. Happy Birthday Shawn, Dean and I love you very much.

Dean is such a blessed boy to have you keeping the memory of his Dad so much a part of his life. The pictures, your constant remembrances, and just the day to day moments that happen concerning Shawn - all of these things will help Dean to know that his Dad was a man to be treasured - even though Dean never had the chance to know him in person. Blessings to you Elisha - that you had Shawn's love. It may not have been long enough, but it surely was blessed. And I have a feeling that it was Shawn as well who knew the blessings.
After all, look who he loved and married.
