We spent today supporting our community. This weekend is the Fireman's Festival. There were yard sales all over the community, many people donating their profits to help rebuild some buildings that were destroyed in the flood 2 months ago. Then this evening was the annual Fish Fry. Benefits of the Fish Fry going to the Fire Department.
Food is great. Live local entertainment singing gospel songs. Games for the kids. Steam powered tractors and several fire trucks from different eras for the kids and kids at heart to check out.
A lot of fun. See a lot of people you know but don't see often.
I got some clothes for the kids at the yard sale, a couple knick knacks, and a couple tools for Ryan for the barn.
It was beautiful weather, Sunny and warm but not hot with a nice breeze all day.
All around, it was a very good day.
