I just want to thank God for bringing home my very good friend from Iraq. This was his 2nd deployment. The first was back in 2003. (He was in Shawn's unit when he was killed.)
He now has a wife and 2 little girls and I know they are all very happy to have him home safe and sound as am I.

I'm so glad Josh came home safely. I just got a death notification; 3 guys from Matthew's unit. (I get them through Blue Star Mothers)It makes me a little more nervous about sending him back. Not that I had a choice... :)
Thanks for your nice comments on my blog about my picture. I, too, really love to cook. I just found a really good recipe for chocolate mint ice cream; I'll have to same some points for that!
