Today my niece graduated from preschool. Big program at the school with refreshments afterwards. Deans preschool does not have a graduation as he will continue to go thru the summer in order to go on some really fun field trips and stay in the routine till time to start kindergarten in the fall.
Yesterday we bought all the stone (hopefully) that we need to build the retaining wall on the side of the house beside the garage. Everything is dug out where it needs to be, the drainage pipe has been laid and the ground been leveled out. We got our plan made. But we ran out of time before it got dark to build the wall. Supposed to rain today and tomorrow so not sure that we will get it built this weekend or not. If not as soon as it stops raining and dries out a bit we will start constructing the wall again.
Thursday we took Dean to the race track and he got to see Indy Cars for the first time in real life. They were only practicing but he got to see them none the less so he was extremely happy. After we did that we took him to the zoo. A very good time was had by all. It was a very long day and our poor feet were exhausted by the time we were home from all the walking we did but it was a really great day and we had a blast.
