Midterms

Dean did pretty well on his Midterm. He got 4 A's, 5 B's and 1 C. We are working on getting that C up to a B so he can make the Honor Roll when report cards come out.

The things they do in 2nd grade amaze me. Sure is different from when I was in 2nd grade. They start learning cursive next week. Learning the difference between a predicate and a subject, doing reverse addition to figure out a subtraction problem.

Is it bad that I had to look up what a predicate even was before I could help him with his homework. 2nd grade homework makes this mom feel dumb!

Elisha,
He looks great - he is growing up into a handsome young man. Terrific grades. "Predicate" rings a bell but is a bit fuzzy. :) Glad that Dean knows what it is.
Blessings and hugs, Elisha and high fives to Dean!
