Baseball

Dean has baseball practice again last night. It was supposed to be on Tuesday night but once again it rained Tuesday so we had it last night instead. For the past 2 weeks, it has rained on Tuesday and is forecasted to rain again this coming Tuesday which will mean that practice will be postponed once again until Thursday when hopefully it will be dry enough to have practice on the ball field.

Dean did well at practice. There was still some hesitation when we got there but this was only his second practice. The coach saw he was hesitant and came over, started talking to him and had Dean "race" him to the outfield where he paired Dean up with one of the boys from his kindergarten class to play catch until practice began.
Once again, they focused on batting and the outfield, with each player getting to bat about 15 times then taking their turn playing in the outfield stopping those balls. Dean got several hits and stopped most of the balls that came his way.
