Ryan's mother was taken to the hospital yesterday about 2 pm after collapsing at his sisters house. Her hear stopped beating and she was without oxygen for a little while. The paramedics did CPR and shocked her twice to get her heart breathing again.
She has been unconscious since and not responding to any stimulus. She is on a respirator because she is not breathing on her own.
The doctors are saying that tomorrow morning they are going to do some tests to determine brain activity and if there is none, then the family is going to have to make a decision.
She had another episode about 11:30 pm last night, her heart stopped twice, and she had to be shocked twice.
She has been doing ok since. But only with the help of the machines.
This is a horrible nightmare for the family to be going thru and there are going to be some very difficult decisions to be made by her children as she did not have a living will.
Please pray that God's will will be done and that the family has the strength to make these decisions.
