Exhausted

The past 5 days have been absolutely exhausting. Ryan is doing better. It has been a difficult thing for him as he and his mother have had issues in the past. They had worked thru some of them but it was still a rocky relationship. This has caused him some guilt now that she is gone, that he should have done more but in all reality, he did everything he could and she hadn't really made much of an effort to repair the relationship. There will be a memorial service for Ryan's mom Tuesday night from 5-6pm.

I have been trying to work on my final thesis for my Master's program whenever I have a free moment which has not happened much the past few days. I have a rough draft due tomorrow night by midnight. I have about 12 pages left to write before then. It will be tight but I will get it done.
Wednesday is the beginning of the Santa workshop at Dean's school. For those of you who may not have this at your kids school, this is where the little kids get to bring money and do their Christmas shopping all on their own. No input from mom or dad, just what they decide. We send and envelope to school with money in it. There are helpers there to help them manage their money and get all the gifts they need. Gifts range in price from .25 to $10.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I will be one of Santa's helpers. I am helping from 8:15-11. I can not help in the afternoon as that is the times that Deans class as well as my nieces class will be doing their shopping. I don't want to intrude on Deans shopping by being there so I will just help the other part of the day.
