Trips to the apple orchard, and pumpkin patch. Preparing for the Christmas Gift and Hobby Show, fishing trips, school fund raisers, and the dreaded flu shot.
I took my first trip to the apple orchard on Monday. I came home with 2 pecks of apples, a few gourds and 2 gallons of apple cider. Ryan and Dean had the first gallon drank by Wednesday.
We will go to the pumpkin patch next weekend to get pumpkins for carving when it gets a little closer to Halloween.
My living room has been taken over by craft projects. I currently have 15 bunnies made from dish towels, 4 centerpiece flower arrangements, 2 wreaths, 2 Junior Chef baskets, and a couple teacher gifts made.
Ryan is in Michigan on his annual Guys fishing trip. I had the house all to myself last night since Mom and Dad were kind enough to have Dean stay with them for the night. I was able to watch a couple movies I had been wanting to watch, and took a nice long hot bubble bath.
Dean sold the last of his 52 candy bars today for his fund raiser for school to help pay for new play ground equipment.
And today, Dean and I got our flu shots. I have to say......OUCH. My arm has a huge knot on it where they gave me my shot. This has happened the past 2 years to me and I guess I should have expected it this year as well but sure was hoping it wouldn't happen.
Well, need to work on my crafts some more, I have welcome signs to hang on your front door that need to be painted.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
