Scary Day

Today could have very easily turned out to be the 2nd worse day of my life.

Today should have been like any other day.

Today was scary.

Ryan ( my significant other) and a friend of ours were to go pick up a 6 ton load of sand to bring back to our house to prepare for a pool to be installed here on Wednesday. On their way home, the trailer started swaying and got out of control. They were coming down a large hill and could not stop and The trailer pushed them all the down the hill. They crossed the road into on coming traffic and ended up in a ditch in front of a home.

The other side of the road(their side) had a ditch that is about 12 foot deep. This road is the road that the gravel pit is on and there are usually loaded dump trucks going about 65 mph down that road.

Thankfully they landed in the flat ditch and there was no on coming traffic that very moment. If they had been in the other ditch or a dump truck coming, they would not have made it or at the very least been in very very bad shape. If there had been a car coming, the people in the car would have been in the same condition.

God was indeed watching over them both today. And I can not thank him enough for bringing them both home safely.

Elisha,

Giving thanks right beside you. I often say, "but for the Grace of God..." and I think it's so true.
May He bless you.
Hugs,
Sue
