Well, Dean and I were talking last night about soccer and he told me, mommy I don't want to play anymore. I am scared. He broke my heart. While I have said that once the kids sign up for something they shouldn't be allowed to just quit, I can't make him go knowing he is terrified. There is a distinct difference in his entire being before we get there to when he steps out on the field. He is happy go lucky and talks non stop about playing. Then he gets there, sees all the other kids and stiffens. He isn't being stubborn, he is genuinely scared.
So I guess his first soccer season is already done. He starts kindergarten this fall so maybe once he is there and gets comfortable with that group of kids he will feel more confortable and be able to join in something.
