We have so much standing water EVERYWHERE. Roads are closed anywhere there is water close. Every stream looks like a river, every pond looks like a giant lake. Every lake looks like an ocean. The standing water seems to be everywhere. And the rain isn't stopping. It's unbelievable. Last summer we had a drought. We prayed for rain daily. Now we sure are getting it. And a lot of it.
Dean took his cupcakes to school today and his whole class sang Happy Birthday to him. I'm not sure he really cared for that as he usually gets embarrassed but he liked that he got to take something to school for his friends.
Tomorrow is his birthday, We will spend the morning with my mom, sister and nieces coloring Easter eggs and decorating Easter eggs. Then we will go to lunch at a restaurant here in town that has great ice cream. None of us really care what we have for lunch, it's really all about the ice cream anyways. Then tomorrow afternoon we will give Dean his biggest birthday present.His 4 wheeler. He has asked for me to fix ribs tomorrow night for dinner so thats what we will be having for dinner. he will get rest of his presents Saturday when we have his party at Chuck E. Cheese.
Praying that everyone stays safe with all the rain.
